The yachting haven of Newport couldn’t be more of a contrast with its fabulous mansions, breathtaking scenery and the world famous 10-mile Ocean Drive. Friendly Boston is dubbed the ‘Cradle of Liberty’ for its part in the American War of Independence and here you can follow the Freedom Trail or visit world famous Harvard University. Portland is as much about its seascapes as its cityscapes, with an eclectic mix of waterfront pubs, restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Next comes another taste of New England – this time in the form of enchanting Bar Harbor, situated within the Acadia National Park.
A journey around the Canadian ports completes your cruise. First, take a stroll around the cobblestone walkways of historic St John, New Brunswick. Then, take in the sparkling coves of Halifax, the imposing walled city of Quebec and the charming port of St. John’s, Newfoundland. They’re all yours to discover before sailing home.

There isn't much you can say that hasn't already been said about NewYork. It is without doubt one of the most exhilarating cities in the world and it is full of world famous landmarks (you'll see the Statue of Liberty as you arrive, or as you set off) and you can get an incredible overview from the Empire State Building. You can ride a Yellow Cab to Bloomingdales and you may even find yourself surprised at some of the prices – CD's and clothes are much cheaper than in the UK!

The city is also home to Martello Tower, a harbour fortification built during the war of 1812 and Fort Howe with its excellent views over the port.
